When to start using tens machine for pain relief? It is best to consult your doctor or health professionals about using TENS therapy first. TENS therapy is not appropriate for all types of pain disorders. If your goal is to find a way to relieve pain without the use of medication, you should consider using a TENS machine or use it to complement your pain management routine. People who suffer from musculoskeletal pain, such as chronic back pain or osteoarthritis, typically use TENS machines for pain relief. TENS therapy is also used for relieving pain in the early stages of labour.  

It would help if you thought about when to start using TENS machine for treatment as it might help in reducing your intake of medications.
