lower back is in pain

Do you have Lower Back Pain?

If you find that you are suffering from chronic lower back pain, you can do a few things to ease that pain. You can routinely do exercises to build up the muscles around the area, which can help you control and prevent it from occurring, or you could take medication, which can help ease it temporarily. However, if you prefer drug free relief, there are other solutions available.

One of the most popular products to help ease or alleviate lower back pain is using TENS machines like iTENS. These products do not require medicines or injections; therefore it does not have any harmful side effects. You can’t overdose on iTENS or run the risk of using it too much because you can use TENS entirely throughout the day for as long as you like. However, avoid using it while you are driving, operating machinery, or in the bath or shower.

Lower Back Pain Causes

Lower back pain is difficult to live with because this is a part of your body that is used almost constantly throughout the day. Poor posture or injury is something that affects many people where lower back pain exists. There are even some genetic conditions that cause back pain. Pain in your lower back, whether muscular or skeletal, can be aided through the use of exercises as mentioned above. Building up the muscles in your lower back and correctly posturing yourself when you perform activities can prevent it from worsening and help speed up and enable recovery. For example, when you are at work, make sure that the chair you are using is effective in helping to ensure your posture is correct and if not, speak to your manager or employer about getting an ergonomic chair that will place your body in the proper position. When picking things up, always remember to bend from the knees and not bend over by using your back; this will only result in stress being put on the lower muscles in your back.
